Re: How am I doing??
Sorry, haven't looked at your other threads, but why are you using plain Cpap vs Apap? You have a ton of hypopneas, and I wonder if an Apap, where you could set the low pressure according to Sleepyhead vs ...? might be better.

Re: How am I doing??
Julie, where are you seeing a ton of hypopneas? He had a lot of hypopneas on his Sleep Study, but on these reports most of the events I see are CA's and not hypopneas. Increasing pressure may not be the best thing at this time.Julie wrote:Sorry, haven't looked at your other threads, but why are you using plain Cpap vs Apap? Re: How am I doing??
Other than last night being leak city I think the reports look pretty darn good for 4 nights of therapy.
The bulk of the AHI appears to be central/clear airway. Some might be awake/semi awake breathing (those close to known awake times).
I don't see anything remotely qualifying as "a ton of hyponeas".
Not real a ton of anything except last night's leaks.
The one night with the AHI of 8ish...a little more than half of it was central and the bulk of those was during the last couple hours of sleep.
Were you maybe awake or semi awake during that time?
All in all other than the leaks which you probably already knew about...pretty darn good report.
The nights with the minor leaks...not worrysome at all.
Last night 28% of the time was spent in large leak...still won't earn Mr Frowny face for mask fit (has to be 30 % or more in large leak to get Mr Frowny).
For just being on cpap for 4 nights and still sorting out mask fit issues and learning to sleep with the alien plastered on the the face.
Pretty good reports.
Those centrals/CAs....at this point just watch them. They could be awake/semi awake breathing getting flagged. There might be a few sleep onset centrals in there too. There's not enough of them to warrant anything more than just keeping one eye on them. We can't fix them with more pressure anyway and at this point there's not enough of them even if they were the real deal to warrant trying to do anything with them.
