First study, she did not sleep long enough to get a titration study done on the same night. She was scheduled for a titration study, but could not find a good pressure for her. Now, she is doing a bipap titration study tonight. She hasn't been sleeping much lately because she is worried about this test. Her diagnosed AHI was 48, which about the same as mine, which was 49. I am going to insist on a ResMed machine for her in order to reduce the number of spare supplies we need to keep on hand. I already have a spare hose hose and water reservoir as well as a brand new machine stored in my bedroom. I also have enough masks and cushions to last me around two years. We will need to find a mask that works for her, then lay in spares.

I am retired military, so we have Medicare and Tri Care For Life. With this combination, we have no out of pocket costs for our cpap supplies unless we decide we want to try a different mask prior to the allocated time for a new mask from the medicare approved DME. I have purchased several masks from other suppliers and private individuals that I wanted to try. If we had been paying for these tests, we would have been through after the first one. I would have used my back up machine to figure out what pressure would work for her, and then purchase the appropriate machine.
