Yes. The Pay Pal option allows for direct; you do not need a Pay Pal acct, cc purchases.

Email them and let them know, they say credit cards are accepted
SecondwindCPAP accepts all major credit cards, as well as PayPal

Years of experience teaches us all that excellence of customer service, thoughtfulness, consideration and honesty are hard combinations to find. My three purchases from and one sale to Second Wind CPAP over more than two years emphatically demonstrated the highest and most excellent, thoughtful, timely and affordablel products that anyone could ever want. And when a manufacturing defect in the mask made it unsatisfactory, Second Wind went way above and beyond good practices, and was generous and thoughtful in solving this problem that the manufacturer created. That deserves praise and repeat business.

Great job, Second Wind!!!

I've purchased two machines from them and both are doing great. Only one minor hiccup, the first machine I purchased the cover to where the filter goes doesn't snap in very well, but that is such a minor issue.

I recently purchased a Respironics 960P ASV unit for a very good price from secondwindcpap - and I've been shopping around A LOT for used ASV's the past 3 months.

Everything arrived in 'as-stated' condition (XYZ machine hours - check, like new - check) and on time. And Mark and Leslie could not have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with. Given the hassle of purchasing over Craigslist, I would rate them as my go-to supplier for CPAP machines. And their warranty policy affords some additional peace of mind.

The PayPal checkout is a bit misleading; during the process a credit card option appeared however, so I was able to complete the purchase with a Visa card.

I don't think one could go wrong with these folks!

My only use of SecondWind was in selling a machine I bought but didn't like. It had very low hours and they were very straight forward and professional throughout the transaction. I have no issue with them as a company to do business with. I don't know about their credit card policy, but I cannot see why PayPal is a problem. It costs the sender zero Dollars to get an account and zero Dollars to send money. They have an enviable record of safety and provide very useful protection for both sides in transaction disputes. They also charge you nothing when making a currency conversion for a purchase. The only caveat I would issue is that in a transaction NEVER agree with a seller who insists the transaction be listed as not involving a sale of products or services. While the seller is not hit with a transaction fee there are NO buyer protection processes in place - the only beneficiary is the seller and the buyer is out in the cold.

Secondwindcpap Review

Bought my Resmed machine from Second Wind 6 years ago. It is still running! Planning to replace with a newer model and keeping the old one as a backup/travel machine.

They have a wonderful service and great prices. Would recommend to anyone.

I purchased my bipap from Secondwind. In Canada the machine would have cost $3,500. I paid $884; and it was brand new...no hours and two year warranty.

If you are buying 'used' from Secondwind, so they require a prescription?

No they don't, I've bought 2 CPAP machines off of SecondwindCpap and they did not require a prescription.

When I purchased from them, they did require a prescription -
This is from their FAQs-
"Do I need a prescription to order a CPAP
All CPAP/BIPAP machines are considered Class II medical devices and require a 'doctor's note'. If you already use a CPAP Machine and are looking for a replacement, back up etc, please call us. We have created a "Physician Authorization Form" to assist you in getting your doctor to sign off on your new or used CPAP machine. Many times, your doctor's office will assist you without requiring an office visit; They understand that you need replacement equipment and in many cases your insurance company does not cover the equipment. We can help you facilitate this process, as there are several options available to you. The bottom line is we will be happy to work with you to get the machine you need. Please give us a call or email us."

And I had a great experience with SecondWind, I had sold 2 older PAPs to them and purchased an S9 Autoset, that had a problem with it, and then they replaced it with a Respironics ASV because my prescription changed when the replacement was required - and I only had to pay an additional amount the difference for the cost . . .
