Need Suggests for High Pressure Settings

I've used CPAP for over 11 years. My wife was recently prescribed one, but her pressure setting is 17. She's having issues with leakage and her mask not sealing.

Anyone have reccomendations on small nasal mask or pillow that handles high pressure?

Does she need to go to a full face mask?

Thanks in advance.

The ResMed AirFit P10 can handle high pressures. I've used an IPAP of 20+cmh2o with it just fine.

I have not found a mask that does not handle high pressures, I have found many that did NOT fit ME.

The smaller the size the easier it will be to use, but it MUST fit you!!!!

I've had my machine for 2 days and also have a pressure of 17 with a nasal mask. Mine leaks and I can't get it to stop! So I have no advice but am looking for the same thing she is. Good luck!

How about a little information?

What mask is she currently using?
What machine?
Is it a data-capable one?
APAP or straight pressure?
How long has she been trying to use it?
Using software to monitor therapy?

Some people use nasal masks with higher pressures and also with Bi-Level therapy. It all depends.
