The National Sleep Foundation invites you to participate in the annual National Sleep Awareness Week® (NSAW) campaign. Join us March 28th – April 3rd as we help America to SLEEP WELL TONIGHT FOR A BETTER TOMORROW!

What is National Sleep Awareness Week? It's a major public education and awareness campaign conducted by the National Sleep Foundation in partnership with thousands of partners to promote the importance of quality sleep to health, productivity and safety. The campaign coincides with the beginning of Daylight Saving Time, when clocks are moved forward one hour in many parts of the country at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in April and millions of people risk losing an hour of sleep. NSF's annual Sleep in America polls show that it is an hour of sleep that most Americans can't afford to lose.

NSAW 2005 provides a focus of activity involving NSF, its sponsors, the media, sleep centers nationwide and thousands of concerned citizens across the country who share our commitment to "Waking America to the Importance of Sleep®."

Use National Sleep Awareness Week 2005 to:

* Raise awareness of the importance of adequate sleep to health and safety
* Raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of sleep disorders
* Enhance the visibility of your organization

Not even one sick day?!?
,

(But you didn't get the idea from me!)

FYI - Liam told me he's now skiing down some mountain and then taking some R&R somewhere, until late Sunday. Guess we're all going to go through withdrawal until then.

Hmmm.

Surely there must be other DC metro area cpaptalkers who might attend and represent the fans of the cpaptalk forum?!?

Oh well. Sorry. But isn't there anything us local people could be doing during that time? Seems a shame to waste such an opportunity.

Well, you can check with your local sleep center to see if they are doing any awareness efforts that you can help with. Or see the NSF's partner's page and check with one of them in your area. See http://www.sleepfoundation.org/site99.cfm for a listing by state.
