I'm still around - and how not to pack a cpap
Hi everybody, I've been noticeably absent since December because of pressure of work. I was working well over 100 hours/week, and something had to give - and it did: my health. I was totally run down and got quite ill. I just got out of hospital, and am recuperating at home after surgery. Anyway, I'...

Hey Jerry69, Glad it works for you! I wasted one helluva lot of time trying to get the pdf printing to work. It seemed to work on some computers, but on others (including my development machine) I only got the top left hand corner of the plot. It was if the printer resolution was wrong, but I could ...

Tom, It sounds very mush as if you don't have Encore Pro and the SQL server installed??? If the MSDE (SQL server) is present on your machine, osql would not behave like that. And if I read your message correctly. it sounds as if you are trying to read data from MyEncore - that certainly won't work. ...

MyEncore for EP 1.5 Beta 7 hopefully fixes access prolems...
Hopefully the latest version of MyEncore for Encore Pro 1.5 fixes the problem with access to the database reported by many of you. The problem was with the way Encore Pro installed the MS SQL server if you were doing a clean install, as opposed to an update from Ver. 1.4 You can download the latest ...

Jerry, I think I'm on to it! I have just found that after upgrading to EP 1.5 I have two versions of the MS SQL Server "service" installed on my computer. The first is listed as "MSSQLSERVER", which is what I have had since EP 1.4, but I have just found that after installing EP 1.5 I also have "MSSQ...

Jerry, I had exactly the same problem three nights ago. No nightly details. It was ok again the next night. The funny thing was that MyEncore showed the details for that night.... Re your MyEncore problems. did you upgrade from EP 1.4, or do a new install from the 1.5 download? I'm wondering if that...

Here's the problem: I have upgraded to 1.5 on my machine, and I cannot go back to 1.4 to work on the old MyEncore. Of course, I have no intention of taking it away, and it has been rock-solid for many months as it is. I really don't have a lot of time to enhance it anyway. I am supposing that at som...

Jerry, Ric is also having the same problem. The osql test indicates that for some reason you cannot access the MSSQL server. I get exactly the same response if I turn off the server. So the next question is - are you sure the MSSQL server is running? You should see its icon in the system tray. A gre...

My Auto went crazy a few months ago and lost the date, that is it went back to 1/1/98. I called Respironics and they said the only way to change the date or time is to send it back to them through the company I purchased it from (cpap.com). The whole process will take at least three weeks. I'm still...

Gerry, Did yo get MyEncore 1.5 to work yet? I am interested as to why it doesn't detect the database for some people... I'll be happy to work with you on this. Here's something to try - see my post on osql above. Open a command window and type: osql -E This will attempt to open the SQL server using ...

Here is a way to give "limited" user accounts access to the Encore Pro Ver. 1.5 database through MyEncore 1.5, when Encore Pro 1.5 was installed with the SA account disabled (the default). At the risk of being repetitive, I emphasize that this is only useful if : 1) You want to use MyEncore 1.5 from...

MARK, Sure. The problem is that you can't step back to 1.4 because you have altered the database - it's a one way trip unless you saved your previous database. BTW - I have been playing (succesfully) with the SQL utility "osql" and am now able to give a "limited" user account access to MyEncore usin...
