It's an ozone generator.
How is Ozone Harmful?

The same chemical properties that allow high concentrations of ozone to react with organic material outside the body give it the ability to react with similar organic material that makes up the body, and potentially cause harmful health consequences. When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath, and, throat irritation. Ozone may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma and compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections. People vary widely in their susceptibility to ozone. Healthy people, as well as those with respiratory difficulty, can experience breathing problems when exposed to ozone. Exercise during exposure to ozone causes a greater amount of ozone to be inhaled, and increases the risk of harmful respiratory effects. Recovery from the harmful effects can occur following short-term exposure to low levels of ozone, but health effects may become more damaging and recovery less certain at higher levels or from longer exposures (US EPA, 1996a, 1996b).
If used at concentrations that do not exceed public health standards, ozone does not effectively remove viruses, bacteria, mold, or other biological pollutants.

As someone who's been getting allergy shots successfully for a long time, I say, go get the testing done. If the tests show that you have allergies, you will notice relief within a few months. Find a good allergy doctor and give it a try. You've certainly tried everything else. Allergy shots and nasal sprays, the neti pot, and a mandibular advancement device kept me pretty happy for almost ten years before I finally decided I needed to go for cpap.

Easy girl. Maybe not for you but reflux most certainly can affect the sinuses. For me, when this happens. instead of congestion it causes a runny nose, and if that, then its only a short step into its opposite, congestion which is caused by (a) dried up secretions and/ or (b) swelling of the membranes.

Reflux can also make one's eyes water, so how can you say it cannot cause congestion when there are such obvious linkages in the event?

you go right ahead, I'm going to call out bullshit when I see it.

"playing nice" doesn't include letting some likely paid shill come in and spread bullshit advertising for a company whose main objective is separating the gullible from their money.

"play nice"

I have nocturnal nasal congestion and it's very hard to manage.

Have you tried adjusting your humidifier, lower or off for a couple of nights?

Starlette, play nice? "Pailrider" doesn't have a clue what "play nice" even means. Take a look back and read some of his posts. In every other thread you'll see someone calling him out. Don't even waste your breath.

Now, sit back and watch for the others. They'll be comin' 'round the mountain soon enough.

Forgot to ask... how have you been?
