Problems

Post by Andrew P » Mon Jul 25, 2016 6:29 am

Hello, I'm new to this and will try to explain my problem as well as I can. I have sleep apnea , I stopped breathing 123x per hour for 10 seconds or longer each time about two times per hour , I have had the machine for five months I have used the machine every night since I got it. My problem: ever since I got the machine I have been waking up in a panic, usually with the mask on the ground, one night I actually broke the mask off , this is happening while I'm asleep with no memory of it usually I will wake up in a daze thinking I need to get out of something while half dreaming , with a strong feeling of panic why is this and can it be because I'm not getting enough air ?

One thing to try just watching TV with your CPAP on, it is also possible you your pressure might be a bit to low and you might feeling like you are not getting enough air and that might also cause you to pain.

What machine - full name(s) and model # - are you using? What mask? What pressures is the machine set at? We need something to go on to help you.
