Can someone who understands tell me if getting up in the middle of the night and not shutting my Airsense off is messing up my leak data? Seems like machine is interpreting my absences as major leaks.
My charts are here:

Whoops. Seems I don't know how to include an image, either!

Yeah, if you are taking your mask off to go to the bathroom or whatever, and leaving the machine on, it is going to interpret that as a major leak. You can turn the machine off when you get up, and back on when you lie back down and that will not mess your data up in any way. It will actually present a better picture since all we care about is the time you are asleep.

based on that chart, no.dvejr wrote:Can someone who understands tell me if getting up in the middle of the night and not shutting my Airsense off is messing up my leak data? Seems like machine is interpreting my absences as major leaks.
My charts are here:
you had a couple periods of large leak, but a mask off leak should be much larger, 100-200lpm, not the 30-40 something that is highlighted by the large leak flags. (unless, maybe, you're using a nasal pillow... mask, your profile doesn't show.
do those LL times correspond to when you got up, or do the two times when there's a break in therapy and a brief ramp event correspond to when you were up?
do you have smartstart enabled?

Sorry to hijack this thread but it is related.
I've read some people suggest putting the machine on for 15 minutes or so, without using it, to dry out the hose if it has moisture in it.
Will that not cause problems for the data when I return to my doctor?
