Sleepyhead can't find data

Post by Leland » Sat Feb 13, 2016 11:31 am

Sleepyhead cannot find the data on my SD card. Everything has been working fine until now. My computer can open the card directly and read it, but no luck with Sleepyhead. Last night I bought a new card and it works fine, but no luck with the old card. Does anybody have an idea how I can make the old card work?

So the new card you used does get read by SleepyHead??

If so, the old card is most likely corrupt and a reformat might fix it.

Note that SleepyHead stores and archives all the data that it reads from your SDcard each time it reads and imports it, so your history is stored in it.

Checking the old card, when you insert it you should see data on it. While I have a different machine from yours, you should still see machine data on the card. My S9 VAP Auto's data looks like:

If you can't read the data on the old card then you might need to reformat it perhaps that will resurect it. They can and do go bad over time especially if you take it out daily to read your data.
Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM
TNET Sleep Resource Pages - CPAP Machine Database
Put your equip in your Signature - SleepyHead v1.0.0-beta-1

Why are you concerned about the old card...toss it. Cards are cheap.

I found a work-around to the problem. I just copied the file named "P-Series" to the desktop and then instructed Sleepyhead to "Import Data", then selected "New Location", and then directed to the P-Series location. Don't why Sleepyhead can't read the file directly for the SD card any longer.
