I Started a new thread as the other was specifically about allergies and nasal pillows. Quick history:
had a TAP device, it broke, I got a CPAP just last Tuesday (2/2) and despite what appears to be very low event count, I do not feel any better than I did untreated. In fact, I've felt terribly fatigued the last two days, the worst days in a long time, and I had been untreated after TAP broke for ~6 months. Hoping someone can take a look at the below and offer suggestions. For last night (2/11) I increased min pressure to 7.

Well it looks like the majority of your events are central - were you diagnosed that way? If so, your machine can't help and you'd need another type called an ASV, so do you have your diagnosis, study reports, prescription, etc?

Not necessary to have a different machine to treat the number of events they are having. There is nothing I can see that needs treating. Your AHI and leaks look good.Julie wrote:Well it looks like the majority of your events are central - were you diagnosed that way? It can take a while to get used to sleeping with the mask and machine and the feeling of fatigue relief can be gradual. Keep a journal of how you are feeling. But using the machine prevents further damage to your organs so commit to using it. You will one day suddenly think I'm doing something I couldn't have before CPAP.
Check out good sleep hygiene to get the best rest you can. You can Google it.
