Hose came off during night

Post by Hornnumb2 » Fri Feb 12, 2016 10:10 am

When I woke up this morning, I went to hang my mask on the bedpost and i realized that the hose had come undone from the mask sometime during the night and was just blowing behind my pillow. Not sure how long it was that way but my AHI was 11 so I guess it was that way awhile.

If you have access to SleepyHead or Encore, you can download the data and see exactly when it happened.
In Encore, the report will show the time after which the patient was no longer connected to the machine.
SleepyHead will show it as a gigantic leak starting at a particular time.

I had a similar thing happen with my most recent sleep study. It woke me up immediately and I had the hose reconnected before the RT, who came running, could get there.

Yep. We've all had that. Or that mask coming off or a giant leak.

WT? Your machine is not able to sense breathing events unless it is connected to the mask.
