Re: Emergent central sleep apneas on BPAP
BTW even if you did have a lot of centrals....more pressure with your machine is useless...won't help reduce them at all. Back off on your pressure settings. You don't need as much as you are using. May I ask you a question. When you are on pressure X cmH2O on CPAP and you move to BPAP, would X be ...

Re: Emergent central sleep apneas on BPAP
What makes you think you have emergent central apneas or a problem with centrals even? A little over 1 per hour average isn't near enough centrals to make criteria for that diagnosis. In the USA people need to have at least 5 per hour average. It's normal to have a handful of centrals. Are you slee...

Emergent(?) Central sleep apneas on BPAP
I've been struggling with finding a reasonable BPAP setting to improve my symptoms and reduce central apneas. When I use larger IPAP/EPAP (such as 11/6.5) I start getting aerophagia and waking up a lot. When I reduce to IPAP/EPAP to 10/5.5 I start getting central apneas and waking up with headaches ...

Re: BiPAP not picking up inspiration sometimes
Do you know if it's in their roadmap to implement it? Do you mind asking the question here, https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t187244/OSCAR-v151-released--September-23-2023.html ? One of the OSCAR team members should see it and answer. I ended up finding that there is already an open issue on thei...

Re: BiPAP not picking up inspiration sometimes
Do you know if it's in their roadmap to implement it? I was able to unload my SDCard to my computer, but as you anticipated OSCAR does not recognize the format when trying to import.

Re: BiPAP not picking up inspiration sometimes
Hi! I'm migrating from CPAP to BiPAP and have been struggling with the device not picking up my inspiration and not triggering the IPAP often. Could this be a breathing problem or a device issue? I initially noticed a clogged nostril but even after decongestion it kept happening. Just wanted to sha...

Re: BiPAP not picking up inspiration sometimes
Is it the AirCurve 10V? The model name should be on the front of the machine. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-aircurve-10-vauto-bilevel-machine Can you post a typical day in imgur.com and share the link in this thread? Instructions in my signature. It's actually "BPAP AUTO GII BMC T-20A Ser...

Re: BiPAP not picking up inspiration sometimes
My device has sensitivities ranging from 1 to 8. I have played with both "I Sensitivity" and "E Sensitivity" for many days. Both are at maximum lately (=8). But still, every once in a while when I finish breathing out and start to breathe in, it does not switch the pressure and it gets hard to breat...
