I can't seem to find where or how you get the data transferred from your SD card to your computer? Do I need to by a card reader or something? Is there a recommendation?

Two options are out there. One, yes you will need a sd card reader on your computer. Most laptops already have a sd reader port. for PC's sometimes there are panels that you mount in an empty cd drive bay. I have a usb reader, that it has 3 usb ports, and micro, sd ports. A newer option out is a SD wifi card made by Toshiba. I think a couple other company's make one, but that Toshiba one seems to be the most popular. With the wifi option, you will not need to take out the card of your xPAP machine everyday. It will transfer files via a program called sleep master viewtopic/t103235/Sleep-Master-Wireless ... nsfer.html.

My SD card reader is part of my all-in-one printer (my desktop PC doesn't have one).

I assume one could use a USB SD card reader. Is this correct

Yes. It looks like you can get one pretty cheap (less than $10.00).
My computer came with a card reader.
