Re: Does it ever get any better?
Heh-I have a young friend, but he wants me to learn this stuff for myself. He plans to move to Seattle soon,so I suppose I'll have to learn a lot of tech stuff for myself.

Re: Does it ever get any better?
If you have acid reflux overnight, you might try raising the head of your bed up on 4-5" blocks as it works well for many people... or else ask your doctor for something. Certainly GERD can awaken you overnight, especially if you drink a lot of coffee, even earlier in the day. You said you don't wa...

Re: Does it ever get any better?
palpitations, indigestion, etc. Can you give a precise description of the symptoms? Going by my data on my air,I'm sleeping okay, and am having a low amount of events per hour. Have you read enough to see that most consider MyAir to be nearly worthless? Get SleepyHead and you will have some good da...

Does it ever get any better?
I've been on CPAP for close to a month now, and I'm not noticing any real improvement in my overall daytime health. I'm still having palpitations, indigestion, etc. Going by my data on my air,I'm sleeping okay, and am having a low amount of events per hour. But I don't know if it's really helping me...

Re: I'm brand new to this and scared.
well, thanks for that; I've already got sleepyhead bookmarked, and just did the same for the resource manual; I'm going to bed early tonight, in hopes of getting a better night's sleep, so I'll look at them later. Good night, everyone. Oh, and I just checked my air again, it's still not showing me a...

Re: I'm brand new to this and scared.
I've got an elite, but I'm seeing my cardiologist tomorrow, and my regular doctor next tuesday. I'm going to try and stay off any sleep aids tonight and see if that helps.

Re: Running out of time.
As i recall, it took me two weeks to get My CPAP from the time i was diagnosed. For one thing, the sleep therapist I have apparently covers all of the sleep centers in town, so she's only in the office once a week. My doctor seems to have the same problem, because I've only been able to see him on M...

Re: I'm brand new to this and scared.
Right now, I'm not sure which symptom is worse; The constant heart palpitations, the wooziness that hits me with no warning, the closed off throat,or the indigestion. Things better get better for me SOON.

Re: I'm brand new to this and scared.
okay, this is what I have, according to the receipt; 1)CPAP airsense 10 (I think it's elite) I'll have to check with my sleep therapist if it's data sending- it has an SD card, if that means anything. 2) resmed 37204 3) Humidifier for Airsense 10 (still not sure what kind, though) 4)Climateline air ...

Re: I'm brand new to this and scared.
Until you tell us what equipment you have, and until we can look at some Sleepyhead reports, there isn't a lot to say... why not give us a chance to help? All right- I'm just going to come right out and say that. I don't know how to do that. You want me to post my equipment here? I've updated my pr...

Re: I'm brand new to this and scared.
well, I'm under that, but I'm only counting the actual sleep time i had. I still get up to go to the bathroom frequently, but I've always had that, so my overall score, counting mask removal may not be that great. Still, for my first night, it's not too bad. I'm still having the daytime fatigue and ...
