as I understand it, encore pro is just for multiuser use, with a database backend, and other multi patient features. ergo, a waste of time.

Pugsy used to be the one with the links. You might try a PM to her.
I used Encore Viewer when I first started CPAP, Switched to Encore Pro, and then installed Encore Basic as a test for Pugsy.
Encore Viewer was the predecessor to Encore Basic.
Encore Pro is much faster to use that Basic, which is very slow even on my reasonably fast machine.
Pro is sometimes a little more complicate to install than Basic which just installs without any difficulties.

Encore Pro 2 does have a lot of functions you don't need but all you have to do is select the therapy tab to access the reports you want. It has summary, trend and detailed reports. The flow charts are printed out with one hour per page (10 rows of 6 minutes each). The charts and reports can be saved in a pdf format so you can access them without using the Encore program. The pdf format makes it easy to copy sections to post or use elsewhere.

Just a few addendums on why Encore Pro 2 sucks. You only get three attempts at logging in with your password when starting Encore Pro (ie. every time), then it shuts down the program and you have to contact the company to get a unique password to unlock it. Not something you want to do with 'borrowed' software Also: it's awfully hard to back up all your data IMO... I don't think I ever figured it out before I abandoned the program for Sleepyhead... there were a few nice folks here that tried to explain SQL backups to me, however I failed to get it to stick. Stay with Sleepyhead, it's lightyears better.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
