Dream Wear Mask

Post by Sleepyv » Tue Feb 09, 2016 7:56 pm

Do any of you use the Dream Wear Mask? I am trying it, tonight will be the 2nd night. I love that you are able to move around a lot since I am a restless sleeper and the hose is on the top of your head but I do have leaks when I sleep on side and it is supposed to be designed for side sleepers.

I haven't used it very long but if i turn over I have to fiddle with it to get the leaks to settle down. I have never had a mask that I didn't have to fiddle with though. Maybe my old face is squishy.

I use it. You can dislodge the nasal cushion rolling on your side. I think it's because there's nothing protruding into the nostrils. I solved it by tightening the straps just slightly, until it quit happening.

I didn't tighten them a lot, and can't really notice any difference, comfort-wise.

I've been using it for about 4.5 months, absolutely the best CPAP mask I've used in over 10 years. I don't have any issues at all when rolling onto my side. You say you have leaks when laying on your side...are you sure it is a leak? It could be the front vent blowing onto your pillow/sheets. It sounds just like a leak, but if you seal your finger over the vent, the sound goes away. Try that first, then maybe try tightening the mask.
