Re: Dedicated CPAP packing list

You guys are rough... geez. I dont do lists but wish i did because it sucks to forget things. I do believe writing procedure saves time in the long run especially if you are fortunate to be able to delegate to work to others (i.e. an assistant). Nothing wrong with lists! Now people that write lists ...

Re: How long will this burst of energy last?

I got that burst of energy after 3-4 weeks. It lasted about 2-3 weeks and today I dont have it anymore.. I feel better today than before CPAP (at least I dont wake up gasping for air) but I do wish i had that energy burst again. Whatever you are doing dont change it! That energy burst is nothing to ...

Using fixed pressure -- higher AHI but better sleep?

I haven't touched my settings in over six months as I have been getting good AHI numbers (as good as it gets) I do find that I wake up a lot during the night, tossing around, and while my AHI is many times 0 or very close to it I am sometimes very tired. I had a feeling that maybe using the auto mod...

Re: Anyone using more than one mask regularly?

I did try different masks regularly for the first 4-6 months... two or three masks, sadly, I used for just a few hours or a day or two and that was it.. others I might have worn for weeks off and on. Over time you will figure out what you like the best (or dislike the least :D ) and stick with it. S...

Re: Sticky about recent spam bot attacks

Not really going to work all the time. Here is a Google search for captcha solving services. :( It makes sense they are using something like that. This forum is powered by phpBB.. since it is free and open source I am sure it is fairly common on the internet.. so it is not hard for them to create a...

Re: Sticky about recent spam bot attacks

Anyone want to reach out to the company they are advertising? If you check on google translate.. maybe someone can call "Jimmy" on "WeChat" and find out who they hired to do their "internet marketing". I am pretty sure this is all automated. is this forum running the latest version of phpbb? maybe t...

Re: What will happen if I didn’t use Cpap for 2 weeks

This is all based upon your current compliance. If you are use a cpap 100% of the time then skipping two weeks is crazy. If you use it 50% of the time then probably it is not a big deal. But I suggest you take the cpap. I wouldnt even buy a second machine or take a used one. I suggest you dont overt...

Do you really need portable? POC simplygo would be 0.5-2.0 but what if you want 3.0?

Re: Camping with a concentrator

If allowed, use a generator. Honda eu2000i is very quiet. Run a 50ft extension cord or more so you dont breathe that nasty exhaust. I have both concentrators and the honda generator. I would rather sleep with the noise of the generator to give you an idea how quiet it is. Technically it is louder th...

Re: Battery backup without an alarm

I agree the battery and inverter are overkill. Also not safe if batteries are exposed. As well as very bulky and consuming space if in your bedroom. The right solution depends on your power reliability. In the last 10 years I have only had two power outages (less than 2 hours) and they were announce...

Re: ahi oxygen?

I have been bpap user for about two years, No mask issues, my ahi Occasionally spikes to 25 or above, Even though My on overnight oxygen is okay based on recent test, I believe adding oxygen would be worth a try-- I used an oximeter overnight (transmitting the data to my laptop) and found my spo2 w...

Re: AirSense 10 Autoset for Her going back to Online company

If you get a manometer you can measure pressure at your mask. If it is correct then maybe try a different mask? The P10 worked great for me for 2 weeks and then it did not work anymore. I am sure your mask was fine, but things can change possibly? I dont know if the diffuser got dirty (i washed mine...

Re: Travel CPAP

Do you really need need a travel CPAP? I travel and sometimes need to take a small prop to final destination or a chopper. The CPAP is usually least of my worries. I used to carry it on planes (free carry-on allowance) but the CPAP is not heavy.. my problem with luggage is weight and not physical sp...

I will be traveling for the holidays no problem taking my cpap. I will be gone for four days. I've been on cpap for 5 years just started oxygen 3 months ago how do I handle this. Thanks How many LPM of oxygen? SimplyGo or SimplyFlo in my opinion is the best portable continuous flow. It only goes to...
