When my CPAP was able to be run at full pressure, my ED problem improved...significantly.

I lost 100 lbs last year and the ED improved very slightly, not much. With proper CPAP therapy, my ED improved significantly. Although my testosterone levels did not go up.

The only way to find out whats really going on would be to hire my own specialist physician, ditch the third payer health insurance and blow maybe $50,000 on private medical care. And I cant afford to pay that much for medical care.

You have heard they have a test for your testosterone levels, and a way to correct them? Jim

ive tried the TRTs. The only one that worked were the old school injections. And the improvement was not as dramatic as I thought it would be. I actually had a better libido with low testosterone and no TRT but my old time full pressure CPAP. I know, makes no sense but its the way it was.

I stopped the testosterone injections several months after the tonsillectomy and after my CPAP therapy fell apart. One thing about TRT is it spikes your pressures and it feels kinda like a type of speed, to be honest.

I have to say after nearly twenty years of having a low libido except for seven years on CPAP, WHATS SEX???? Who has it? I forgot about it. Im highly skeptical many of the regular posters here have much of a sex life, going by self described bios of many posters here. Bad hearts, type II diabetes, OSA, obesity...be real you cant even HAVE SEX when you are in that kind of condition. I mean what do you do to have sex like that? You cant even get up and do it with a sex partner when youre that bad off.

From your posting habits, I would have expected you never had anything to forget about.

never did the injection, I used AndroGel 1.62%, worked well, built my strength up so I could get out of a chair easyier, down side it turned my armpits into rotting flesh, then the lawsuits started, I quit using it. I was scared of messing with hormones anyway, on account of Cancer risk, fooling with mother nature is tricky.

I take 3 injections daily really don't want to do another, not worried about sex, that ship sailed and sank. Darn Iceburgs! I do need it to build muscle mass. I also tried the patch, it made burns at the site.

I do understand the Grumpy, getting old with poor health, doesn't help ones attitude. Jim

You may have noticed that women are more prone to sleep disturbances than men. They are, for instance, up to twice as likely to suffer from insomnia than men. I've been waiting for some of the women to comment about this article.
Personally, I thought there was a glaring omission regarding the feminine gender about this situation.
I was holding off mentioning it since I thought some of the women MIGHT point it out.

I seriously doubt many if any of the women on this forum could even have sex, most are so obese. I dont think sex is a big thing for sleep apnea sufferers. We get a bad rap, much like mental patients get, in my personal opinion. Sure there are the highly successful CPAP patients who turn their machines on, use nasal pillows instead of masks and never talk about their apnea at work or with friends and it works great for them. I say they are great folks, wonderful. I wish I was like that, Im envious. I used to be like that basically, except I never got to be able to use nasal pillows.

Most of the women on this site are more interested in whats on oprah and daytime TV and eating Krispy Kreme donuts than they are in having sex. Especially good sex.

It has nothing to do with "HAVING sex".
I was thinking about their child-bearing and nurturing instincts with their babies.
Many women who have had children seem to be light sleepers and wake up easily to check on their children (or spouses).

That's what I thought was missing from the article and study.

There are some serious female freaks out there that love sex and dont want to have babies, trust me. I use to know.

wont find any freaks on this forum though, too tired to be a freak and at 300 lbs, the only freak they are going to find is a guy with a fat girl fetish.
