My Air is used by your DME and doctor to confirm you are using the machine and the treatment is effective so they can get paid by the insurance companies.

no, myair is just the play interface to the data that they give to users.

doctors and DMEs have their own program that gets to the detailed data that's sent to the resmed cloud.

I check it at work in the morning just to get an idea how the night went. Sleepyhead data cannot be topped, but it requires a little more time at home.

MyAir seems to be sort of a toy.

I downloaded Sleepyhead but haven't used it yet because I haven't slept thru the night with the CPAP. Have a bit of trouble taking seriously any stats because I believe non-sleeping stats are probably some kind of weird little statistics without meaning which the software tries to make sense of--- calling them apneas when they are yawning or microsleeps or whatever.

I agree with everyone else. The Myair score is crap. If you take naps during the day, and use your CPAP, as you should, it will ruin your score. That is ridiculous. They should reward you for that, not penalize you for it. The same with penalizing you for getting up for a potty breaking and putting your mask back on. That is a compliance win, not a tick mark against. There are a lot of us who get up for that 3 a.m. potty break, and say screw it, and don't put the mask back on.

The only reason I check it everyday is to make sure that my compliance data has uploaded properly. I am still in my first month of usage, and I don't want them to have any complaints against me. Now if my DME would just hurry up and get that new mask I ordered in. This one is starting to annoy the heck out of me.

I like getting scores of 100 in MyAir. I know its juvenile. Of course I use SleepyHead for proper analysis.

Last night the SOB penalised me for a power failure.

Once while I hooked up the cumbersome Power Station II and again when I reconnected to the power once the blackout was over!
This was my first use of the Power Station for its intended purpose. It worked well, apart from having to fumble around in the dark connecting it. As our night time blackouts are only usually for an hour or two, I left my humidifier and heated hose(28c) on as an experiment. After 1 hours and 15 minutes I had used over 60% of the battery!

Since I don't own a computer and thus don't have sleepyhead available to me at the moment, I use the MyAir scores exclusively. since I started I score 100 pretty regularly, with the score occasionally dipping as low as 96. I know you all seem to think it's just a toy, but based on my scores, and the amount of decent sleep I'm finally getting as well as how much better I'm beginning to feel after a month of CPAP treatment, I'm not sure everyone needs to be using sleepyhead to see every little detail of their treatment. I completely understand that if you're having problems, sleepyhead appears (from what people on this forum indicate) to be the ultimate tool to figure out what's going on. I'm just not sure everyone needs that much detail.

Your sleep is more important than 100 points.
Agree! Just points to the ridiculousness of their scoring. Maybe I'll get an extension cord and bring my machine to the bathroom with me.
As long as I disconnect my mask from the hose and keep the mask on, it doesn't register as mask removal.

Good afternoon -

I tend to go by my absolute final measurement of a good night's sleep. Not being threatened by my wife.

If I can avoid the elbows and other reminders to fix or put on the mask properly, I probably have a great score on both Sleepyhead and MyAir...

Just sayin...
