Should I still be having "events"?
Should I still be having "events"?
Had 4.6 events per hour last night. Shouldn't they be going away?
Re: Should I still be having "events"?
Everyone has some events. It virtually impossible to have no events every night. Anything under 5 is considered treated, but, most people can reduce their nightly events to 1 or 2 by monitoring their events on the Sleepyhead software. Often the events are CAs (clear airway events) which can be ignored if there are only a few.Dead wrote:Had 4.6 events per hour last night. Shouldn't they be going away?

Cool thanks, I am usually under 5, so I guess I am good.

The most important is how you feel you are sleeping. Get Sleepyhead and monitor your therapy. This link will help you. https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyheadDead wrote:Cool thanks, I am usually under 5, so I guess I am good.

Is this better than the "My Air" dashboard that comes with my resmed device?
Re: Should I still be having "events"?
myair is crap, and tells you nothing useful beyond what's on the screen of your device.Dead wrote:Is this better than the "My Air" dashboard that comes with my resmed device?OkyDoky wrote:The most important is how you feel you are sleeping. as to having events, nothing is perfect, certainly not cpap, but by downloading your data into sleepyhead, you can see what happened, when it happened, and many times get a good idea what needs to be done to make things better.
I'm not happy with an ahi of 5, that's still being prodded out of sleep on average, every 12 minutes.... all night long.
read the first post in the announcements section at the top of the forum main page.

Get OSCAR
Accounts to put on the foe list: dataq1, clownbell, gearchange, lynninnj, mper!?, DreamDiver, Geer1, almostadoctor, sleepgeek, ajack, stom, mogy, D.H., They often post misleading, timewasting stuff.

Much, much better. You will be amazed at all the information on your SD card.Dead wrote:OkyDoky wrote:The most important is how you feel you are sleeping. Get Sleepyhead and monitor your therapy. And in case you don't have it yet here is the Clinical manual for your machine. It gives you the information on all the settings, what they mean and how to change them if needed and when you get ready. https://sleep.tnet.com/home/files/resme ... -guide.pdf
