I can't speak for the OP, but whenever I try to sleep on my side with Dreamwear, it's not flow limitation that is bothersome.... It's tons of noise conducted right into my skull from the tubing under my temple. Earplugs seem to make the sound worse and I haven't been able to position myself carefully enough to avoid the noise, and still sleep. My head always shifts and I wake up from the noise. I have to sleep on my back even though it's harder to fall asleep that way, and less comfortable for me.

I have tried the Dreamwear based on the positive reviews from this board. I loved the lightweight feel of the tubing, the connection to the hose on the top of my head was fine, Lying on my side seemed to dislodge the head gear, and seems to move the tubing from under my nose to the side or it gets blocked and I am not getting any air at all. To me, the tubing under my nose is soft and if I can't keep the opening right at my nostrils, it deflates and I can't breathe. I was up all night adjusting the headgear too.

I also sleep on a temapedic pillow; I wonder if the pillow design causes a problem with the fit of the mask.

anyway, I switched back to my wisp and will try another mask as soon as I can. I missed bringing the Dream wear mask back before the end of the 30 day trial. I am looking for a smaller Wisp type mask. the Wisp mask is moving my front teeth.

I took another look at the Dreamwear.

You are all right. I don't feel any perceptible air flow difference to my hand when squeezing closed one of the air channels. I don't hear the fan ramping up either.

It must have been a leak I was feeling when sleeping to one side. Pressure to the side tubing causes the mask to peel off the face. I am now "tucking in" the tube while laying my head down to stop the leak.

So far Dreamwear is my favorite mask, I guess its as close as one can get to nasal pillows without putting something up my nostrils.

I just switched from Mirage FX to Sleepweaver Elan cloth mask and I LOVE it!! The plastic masks always left marks on my skin, even when using the filter things

After using the P10 for a year (and really liked it) I had a problem with it putting too much upward pressure on my nose (adjusting the straps did not help enough) so I decided to use the DreamWear mask. I like the DreamWear mask a lot except during the night when I lie on my side the nasal pillow becomes slightly mis-aligned and it leaks a little. The problem with that is NOISE. Sounds like a freight train!

When I look at the SleepyHead graphs the leaks are somewhat larger than I would get from the P-10 ( which were a max of 28 but mostly below that) and they would go up to the high 30's or so max. I think the machine is handling it as my AHI is not much different than with the P-10. It's just the noise made by the pillow moving out of place that is bothersome.

So I guess my only complaint is the noise, and having to re-align the nose pillow from time to time. If it were not for that I would have no complaints.

I also don't have any problem with airflow even when I sleep on my side as the mask seems to adjust by using the other side to compensate, and the elbow on the top works well and does not cause any problems.
