Daytime RLS ??

Post by tomfly » Fri Nov 05, 2004 12:15 pm

I have just been diagnosed with rem dependent sleep apnea with 107 hypopnea events during the study or about 19 events per hour.

I have all of the "standard" symptoms that I can find on the net. However, I also have what I think is daytime RLS.

I do have the creepy/crawley feeling that is very hard to describe in my calf's. But this is during the day not at night. My leggs do not twitch and I tested negative for RLS at my first sleep study .

Can anyone shed light on my symptoms?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Maybe there is something else going on in your calf. Have the doctor check it out. Maybe its a deep varacose vein or something.

Welcome to the "Hoseheads" forum. I am new (July of this year) too, so we will need all the help and support and encouragement that this forum has to offer. I was so glad to find someone else to talk to and ask questions of people that knew what I was feeling and experiencing. This is an unusual rough road to travel and until you get used to all the hoses, machines, mask, drippy noses, etc. this place is nice to come to for help.

I hope you find out what is going on with your leg
Judy
