Re: New to CPAP - opinions welcome - oddity?
Part of it is sort of chopped off, but from what I can see, the Flow Limitations were driving the pressure increases. And, Flow Limitations and Snores or primarily the only two things that will cause an APAP (in a range of pressures) to increase pressures. Hopefully, the nasal surgery will help that...

Re: New to CPAP - opinions welcome - oddity?
http://i.imgur.com/FBZugJtl.png?1 So this happened the other night. I've recently switched back to the DreamWear mask and tightened it up and my leaks are next to nothing, yay! DH mentioned he heard my machine "trying really hard to do something" at around 3:15. This is the SH info for that night. ...

Re: Brain Damage and Sleep Apnea: Dr. Ronald Harper
So I go in to see the "specialist" and showed him my twenty-seven pages of Rescan data with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one, and he looked at them and said... kid, I want you to go over and sit down on that bench that says Group W. John I had to come on and thank you ...

Re: Battery Recomendations
A timely question as I've been mulling over how to handle power outages. We have a generator but only run it for a few hours at a time and generally not overnight. Solar is an interesting option to look into.
I'll show this to my resident electricity guru.
Thanks!

Re: New to CPAP - opinions welcome
How are you feeling now? Any improvement since your earlier posts? Just saw your thread for the first time today. I think a lot of times we don't give ourselves enough credit for all the other stuff going on in our lives that can disrupt sleep. Having a little one with medical problems makes it tou...

Re: New to CPAP - opinions welcome
Hello again! I've had some time to change my pressure setting. Just a small change of minimum pressure from 6 to 7. Please see the below charts. Further opinion and suggestions are welcome. I have an appointment early next week with an ENT to address a known deviated septum and long-standing sinus t...

Re: Using the "MyAir" feature of the AirSense 10 Autoset
Yes! Absolutely! OTOH this whole journey has been such a complete drag I'm always happy for a little comic relief. And I tried to share my badge on FB, goshdarnit, and it wouldn't postRoman Hokie wrote:Does anyone else feel like sharing and badges are childish?

Re: Using the "MyAir" feature of the AirSense 10 Autoset
this might be another topic but when I go the to MyAir website, I don't see my AHI. Last night was a 99 because I took the mask off 2 times. At the bottom of the pretty rainbow circle (I'm partial to that pretty circle ), there's a blue bar below the "Excellent results, User!" message. It says "Sho...

Re: Using the
Yes, but MyAir gave me "the GOLD badge!" last week. I hate to break this to you, but I'm at master platinum ninja level. Every time I get the badges I just shake my head, it's childishly insulting and humorous at the same time, reminds me of being giving gold stars in first grade. +1 LOL! Same here...

Re: DME Recommendations
I recently fired SleepMed due to general incompetence and specific obnoxiousness (the RT assigned to me was condescending and would NOT answer my questions).
That may have been a problem specific to my local office but I'm much happier with my little independent DME.

Re: Anyone with Fibromyalgia and sleep APNEA?
Thanks 49er, for your input. I won't rule anything out at this point. And I have a really responsive and knowledgeable psychiatrist who will definitely answer questions for me regarding Lyrica - particularly as it applies to my own situation. DH = Dear Husband. I agree that these fibro, multiple sen...

Re: Anyone with Fibromyalgia and sleep APNEA?
It's a huge frustration to me that fibro is still seen as a non-entity, all-in-your-head, "disease" I don't know much about FM, but it seems to be a collection of some of various symptoms with multiple causes. I have much better results with my alternative practitioners. I would be very careful wit...
