Dreamwear Mask - Looking for Plastic Top Part

Post by metsfan302 » Tue Dec 01, 2015 5:21 am

I bought a used Dreamwear mask and I seem to be missing the plastic piece that attaches to the xpap hose.

You are missing the white quick connect/swivel adaptor, not the clear elbow? (Or both?)
One of my former DME's sold me a mask with the connector missing;
but I noticed before I left the office--and made them cough up the missing part.
This part often gets left in the end of the hose, and forgotten.
Unfortunately, our hosts do not show this part available for sale yet.

I have about a dozen or so diff. masks in my bin - thought I would be able to figure something out. I have a quick connect - so missing the clear piece that fits into the rubber/mask top hole. It seems to be dreamwear mask specific. Hoping the orig. sender has it.

When I sent her a message explaining I was missing the short hose/elbow connector - she said it hooks directly into the cpap hose - but alls I have with this mask is a rubber hole on top.

I have the orig package and it atleast shows a elbow/ plastic connector on the picture

Yep, mine has both a clear elbow and a white quick-connector piece that stays in the hose and snaps onto the elbow. Hopefully the person you got it from will be able to find the piece for you!

cpap.com has them for sale under replacement parts. The missing part has exhalation holes and is necessary for safe operation.

I like mine, less leaks than the nasal pillows I was using before. Good luck!
