Why the conformation codes?

Why the conformation codes?

There are time I just want to give me tring to get the code correct and If im on my phone it is even worse. Any way to turn them off?

Confirmation codes will go away on their own after so many posts or private messages...I don't remember exact number but 50 comes into my mind for some reason.
There is no way to turn them off that I know of.

They were implemented sometime back when forum members got swamped with private messages that were nothing but spam.
