F&P Icon Premo Thermosmart issue

From my understanding when I have a thermosmart hose attached to my machine (the elbow does have a plug in for it) it should display a symbol on the screen. I have used it for a week and have only seen this symbol when my machine starts when I plug it on, not turn on therapy. Is there a problem with my machine?
