Hey Den. Thanks for answering. 27,871 total hours, and yes I have a backup.

Respironics Remstar Auto (AKA "The Tank")
I'm going on 9 years with mine (27,871 hours thus far). How many years (and/or hours) have you gotten out of yours before it gave up the ghost (or if you prefer, breathed its last breath). Thank you for your response!

Lifespan for "the Tank."
I'm just about to pass 12,000 hours on my RemStar Auto w/C-flex "tank." Still going strong. Any idea what a typical lifespan in hours might be for this machine? Thanks in advance for your response.

Nasal Seal For Twilight NP, AEIOmed Headrest turning purple
The inside of the nasal seal is turning purple, darkest around the metal that is embedded in the silicon. I have now had this happen on two of them. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it something to be concerned about? Thanks so much!

Re: Trying to choose CPAP for travel
I use a ZZZ-Pap for travel and could not be happier! Even travel with it internationally. Works like a charm.

Anyone want to trade a ResMed Mirage Liberty with Nasal Pillows or an InnoMed Hybrid Full Face with Nasal Pillows for a barely used Respironics ComfortGel Nasal Mask (Large and includes paperwork and instructional DVD)? Non-smoking home. Please PM me if interested.

Hi Peggy.
I use the headrest -- https://www.cpap.com/productpage/aeiome ... rface.html -- couldn't live without it. I solved the mouth breathing problem by tying an ace bandage over my mouth. Works like a charm for me.
All the best!
