Did you name your breathing machine?
Did you name your breathing machine?
And if so, what?
I wanted to call mine "Hoseband" but my "husband" used his veto. So for now it's Pappy!

Re: Did you name your breathing machine?
No.
When this came up before, I looked, and pondered, but came up with nothing.
If you want to, go ahead.
It's enough for me to name people and pets; but never, ever a food animal.
The one car my brothers and I named was always making trouble, breaking down, etc.
Maybe it felt "special", that it could get away with more; that it would get a repair and be kept on.
Not pushing my luck with my cpap. "Thing! Behave or it's the crusher!"

Yes, I've used various names for it, none of them ones I'd share in mixed company. At the moment we're not on speaking terms...

I talk to a lot of things. Usually starts "G-D POS" often followed with 'what the H is wrong with you?'LSAT wrote:If you are naming your machine, I assume that you talk to it. If this is the case...YOU NEED HELP!
My nose pillow and I had words about 3 a.m. this morning. They weren't friendly.

I don't have a name for my device, but I referred to my Airsense 10 for Her as my female sleep aid device.

Re: Did you name your breathing machine?
I have never named any of my possessions.... unless it was a swear word if they didn't perform properly .
We had a friend that named all of his vehicles, an old 49 truck was the "grey ghost", my sons t-bird was the "thunder chicken". Actually come to think of it, we had an old blue Beauville van... it was the "blue tug"... yup, hubby was in the navy
Cheers
Nan
