Re: How to Decrease Resistance in Machine
Right, but I couldn't make sense out of it. I was wondering if someone could put it into simple words I can understand. Follow the instructions that you see here in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-fLD2kq6js +2 Best and simplest video instruction I've seen for either: * Using the CPAP ...

Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
This thread reminds me of a cardboard box. Put a box in the middle of the floor and when you look later you will find a cat in it. A cat trap, they can't resist. +1 . . .Yes, including the two of us cats. This thread was started in bad faith. Now it is playing games with the forum. The OP is otherw...

Re: How to fit mask in hose?
. +1 Exactly. Grip the white end of the hose very tightly, Enchanter. With your other hand wiggle the clear plastic piece hard. You've got it jammed in there. You may need to insert a very small screw driver and , like JDS advised, drip some water downward along the screw driver and work it around. ...

Re: Very concerned about latest pulse ox reading
Neat. Did you see much of a difference in reading accuracy between your pulse ox and their readings?

Re: Very concerned about latest pulse ox reading
Yep, that could be. The entire difference though, 29 events, would all have had to occur between 88 and 89%.

HoseCrusher or JDS74, Can you clear this up? Why are the figures not equal (19 vs. 51) in the data from her opening post at bottom? Re: Here are my Sleep Test Numbers (Titration)
Your "half-hour" comment is not germaine, PR. You can expect the techs to spend more or less time in each pressure setting being tested depending on what they see. If he was getting an AHI of 150 at pressure 12, I'd hate to think what it would be at 13. That's what the machine IS SET AT. At 11 they ...

Re: Here are my Sleep Test Numbers (Titration)
Enchanter, the pictures you sent omit about 1/3 or more of every page. We really need better pictures. Every lab report I have seen includes a paragraph entitled INTERPRETATION and another entitled DIAGNOSIS and another entitled RECOMMENDATIONS. May we see them please? Papit, I'm showing you everyt...

Re: Is getting surgery for the Uvula effective for OSA?
. +1 Well said. Come on BB, if you don't have anything positive to contribute, stay away from this thread. What is to be gained from demeaning another forum member by telling him he is a joke and cursing him? reality is often unkind, just watch national geographic. Hmm, so that is justification for ...

Re: Here are my Sleep Test Numbers (Titration)
I was looking for your help, PR. I don't know his machine. Ok, so he has no bilevel to use. My post was to get the ball rolling and I laid out my reasoning. You've seen the Pressure Distribution section now. Do you agree or not that 11 is a reasonable setting to begin with the fixed pressure that hi...

Re: Here are my Sleep Test Numbers (Titration)
Enchanter, we're missing the top half of page 1. Importantly, we're also missing the Pressure Distribution section. Here's the pressure section https://www.flickr.com/photos/133563138@N02/19151606248/in/dateposted-public/ Well, folks, it looks from the Pressure Distribution section like a pressure ...
