Looking at New machines

I currently am using a RemStar Auto with A-Flex (560P) with humidifier and heated hose. I am due for a new machine next year and thought I would start looking at some. I have no complaints with my RemStar and like that I see the hypopneas. My AHI averages between 0 and 3. 1.6 all of last year. I wan...

Re: Cloth masks?

I have happily used SleepWeaver advance masks for over three years. I could not stand the feeling of plastic/silicone on my face and my skin reacted with marks and rashes. No problems with SleepWeaver products, never had a large leak on SleepyHead, AHI average over last week was 1.25 mostly under 1 ...

Re: I can't check for Sleepyead updates

Pugsy, your directions are great. The problem seems to be that something was lost in updating to windows 10. My working version is Sleepy-Headv0.9.8-1-OpenGL-Testing. What I find in Apps and Features is "SleepyHead version 0.9.3" 39.4 MB. When I try to delete this I get a message saying that it can ...

Re: I can't check for Sleepyead updates

Will I lose my data files if I delete my current sleepyhead ? That is my concern, I cant seem to find the actual data files in windows 10, just preferences etc.The files looked different in Win 7. Mark had this on the download page. "You need to uninstall the old version first if you want to install...

I can't check for Sleepyead updates

I haven't checked for an update for a long time. Well before I downloaded wWndows 10. I just tried, several times and got the same error message every time. I am using version 0.9.8-1 Open GL.exe. The error message is: Unable to inni SSL contex SleepyHead-OpenGL.exe. Am I up to date? In the past I w...

Re: SleepWeaver Advance Nasal pros/cons?

I love the Advance and have used for over two years, Get the short hose, it is light and easily twists from the mask for night excursions, no hanging "trunk" like some masks. One of the fit tricks is the tiny tab at the top of your nose. if you pull it out a bit the air pressure pushes the inner sea...

Re: Aromatherapy for insomnia.

Try a slight whiff of gardenia, jasmine or plumeria/frangipani oil. . These are fragrance oils and synthetic, not essential oils and not healthy for inhaling, same as candle scents. Lots of research that room "fresheners" etc. can cause asthma in children. They are not healthy to breath. I have tro...

Re: Struggling with a bad bout of Flu

I had the same issue. I bought some small cotton makeup removal pads. I put a few drops of eucalyptus globula and place it next to, not over, the filter. It works very well for me. "Vicks" reformulated recently and no longer has camphor. I have an old jar and it works but I don't like the new. I und...

Re: Offering Hand Knitted Custom Cpap Hose Covers + More

They look great, solid color would be a nice opton. A Lightweight summer knit like a dress sock knit would be great. Not for insulation but just to avoid the plastic feel. As you gain experience perhaps you could consider that. Good luck with your endeavor.
