pressure setting

My setting has been 13.5 for years. Would 10 -14 be ok for auto cpap? Thanks

I think I would start with a little higher max...maybe 16, just to see if a higher number is needed. What has your AHI been with 13.5 and why do you want to change?

Have you had a data-capable machine?
In all those years, have you ever checked your therapy effectiveness with software to see how it's actually doing?

If you haven't, and you just acquired an APAP, I would suggest setting your machine EXACTLY as your previous one has been to check how effective it has been (with software).......BEFORE you start experimenting with ranges of pressures.

My AHI has been 0-1.5 for a long time at 13.5. When I got the apap I left it on 13.5 but when I saw my doctor today to get my pacemaker checked and told him some of my symtoms he said I might need to change my setting a little so I decided to go to the auto mode.

I'd check that out with him. Ranges of pressure in APAPs are not recommended for SOME heart conditions.
Did he indicate what or why the changes? Those are pretty good AHI numbers, for all intents and purposes.
