Re: How accurate are CPAP machines for measuring AHI?
It all comes down to actual breaths, that's exactly what the pap machine reports on. Did you wake up feeling like you had a 0.0 night's sleep ? That's the ultimate measure. (IMO)

Re: Should Trump Drop Out
I'd still rather, listen to Trump blowing hot air, than listening to Hillery's Lies and Conceit! At least the Trump blower shuts off Hillery just keeps lying! Jim Hah. Trump wouldn't recognize truthfulness if it walked up and grabbed him by the <Word removed due to user policy>. Look up the fact ch...

Re: How often do you replace your mask?
My masks last a long time (Airfit F-10), it's the headgear that goes downhill for me. It might be a whole different situation if I didn't use mask liners. My insurance allows new masks every 3mo. but headgears only every 6mo. I usually just buy new headgears off of ebay and stick em on the old masks...

Rarely, I imagine. That's why it would be wise to check daily on the off chance one comes up. There are programs that can search craigslist nationwide for you also........

Re: Do insurance companies cover CPAP supplies off amazon?
Mine (Blue Choice) won't cover anything unless it comes directly from an approved vendor contracted with them. They simply do not care that I could save them lots of $$$ by buying online. I just turned 64 and now I have the whole Medicare minefield to negotiate soon. Can't wait !

Re: Machine is getting progressively noisier. Will it pop?
Some simple math should be able to tell you if all the run hours on the machine were put on by you. Did they honestly think that you're just making up a story about the mechanical noise ? In just about everything mechanical, diagnosing intermittent symptoms is the biggest PITA of all. I'd recommend ...

Re: Masks for sale
Hey puglover, you might give this mask a try. >> https://www.cpap.com/productpage/profile-lite-gel-mask-respironics.html It's a "boil 'n fit" type that allows a custom molding to your facial features. I loved mine....... right up until I had to switch to full face masks. Good luck in your search for...

Re: Machine is getting progressively noisier. Will it pop?
Did it appear to be a brand new machine when they gave it to you ? Were you able to verify that it had zero run hours on it ? I wonder if they might have palmed off a used machine on you. DME's are dirty tricksters sometimes. If possible, I'd demand that they give you a new-replacement machine under...

Hearsay and conjecture. Zero charges or convictions. I've always detested Hillary. However.....next to The Orange Grabber-Rapist, she's a dream come true.
