I started with a Swift II in 2008. After about a year I switched to a Swift LT, and it's been great. However, the straps are worn out.
Can you recommend a new mask for me to get? I guess I'd like a nasal pillow mask, since that's what I'm used to. Are newer ones more highly regarded than the Swift LT?
Thanks for your help.
please recommend a new mask for me
Re: please recommend a new mask for me
Many people have lots of problems finding a mask that they are comfortable with. Since you have a mask that works for you, why not stay with it.

Re: please recommend a new mask for me
Hi bbacher,
The ResMed AirFit P10 is the most popular nasal pillow mask on this forum. I highly recommend it. It's the next generation of the Swift FX.
Having said that, the new Philips Respironics DreamWear mask is brand new on the market - keep reading this forum to see how people like it.
But, if you're really satisfied with the Swift LT, have you thought about just replacing the straps?

Go figure - I can walk while chewing gum but apparently I can't quite grasp breathing while sleeping.
Re: please recommend a new mask for me
I started my therapy using the Swift LT...then the Swift FX was released and I liked it better and the most recent ResMed nasal pillow mask is the AirFit P10.
I imagine you would like either one.
They both have "for Her" packaging available that have a little smaller headgear and come with XSmall nasal pillows if you use the smaller sizing.

The Aloha was to like an improved Swift LT

My own personal preference has been to reduce the "stuff" like headgear on my face and head so I left the Swift LT in the dust. It's a nice enough mask but the side plastic things annoyed me and I liked the others better.
The newest mask so far and I just got one today is not nasal pillow but instead uses a little cushion.
It's so new not many have reviewed it yet..

There's always going to be pros and cons with any mask out there.
If you purchasing out of pocket from cpap.com I think most of the above have free return insurance included except maybe the Aloha (I don't remember about it).

Re: please recommend a new mask for me
Almost all masks on Cpap.com have replacement parts - check whether you can get just the head gear for yours.

Re: please recommend a new mask for me
Thanks, all! I wasn't aware that I could get replacement straps. That's certainly the most economical choice. I'm going to at least do that while I consider the other options.
