Classification of Users on Cpaptalk

Post by Goofproof » Sun Oct 11, 2015 2:25 pm

1. Poll Troll
2. Old Poll Troll
3. Plain Troll

Poll troll's, tend to be active most on weekends, guess they have limited jobs during the week, not all are employed so the weekdays aren't left out.

Feel free to add these to the list of site usere. Jim

I think it might be the result of the "Blood Moon" last week

Many of the post here are very strange lately .

From my observation, I think there is only one poll troll... whether it is a he or she (tho I am sure it's a dysfunctional guy who hasn't had sex for a very long time, or ever). Any-who, this individual does not deserve a separate classification (or two) unless it's one step below invertebrates. Yeah, the weekend thing has been showing up a lot lately, but it's weak now and just plain pathetic, not even mildly disruptive like it used to be. The propagator's lust has consumed all the sustenance available (old polls) and now atrophies.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I think it is many people, mainly Newbees, desperately shouting into their keyboards in a vain attempt to be heard about something, anything, anywhere!

Many because you get one vote per poll. The Poll get posted at the top of the page, then others can add their useless comments to the useless poll, like rolling a rock down a bottomless hill. Jim

There is one more type of troll: “story telling troll” but I guess that is the same as your #3 Plain Troll.

The person that brought us the Life & Legend of “Enchanter:” and several other fictional charterers

pettyfan. Seems to be another one.

I wonder if the Troll writes the script/story before he/she creates the identity on cpaptalk. Or just makes it up as he goes along .

Some of them are very entertaining and very well done … seems to be able to sucker a lot of people into the story with his fictional charterers.

Maybe we could get them to post the pictures of their storyboards, and illustrations.

Maybe give us a heads-up on when the sequel will be posted. Or NOT! Jim

Honest! I never made up ANYTHING!
In any case, we can all be fooled; if the perp is determined and imaginative enough.
I swallowed the craziness for a while.
Reason: you never met my FAMILY!

I can never understand what difference it makes. If you think they are a troll just don't post to them.
Why make an assumption about someone and then insult them on a forum. If they are indeed a troll they will enjoy it and if not well you just might do some damage.

And complaining about someone not having anything better to do sure sounds exactly what is being done here in this thread. Do you have nothing better to do.

Off my soapbox and back to work.

It's mid afternoon in Silicon Valley...if you are at work you shouldn't be posting.....(posting because you don't have anything better to do?)

yep I just verified that I made a good choice a while back. So kind of you to confirm that. Bye. Reminds me of a line from Forrest Gump.

I'd like to add one more user classification to those originally proposed:

+1

Half the posts on the forum are complaints that people aren't posting the right thing, the right way, as if newcomers should read 10 years' worth of content before asking a question or somehow intuit unwritten rules about how to behave. It's so gross.
