CMS50F-any one getting SPO2 readings into Sleepyhead on thei

Post by jagzoo » Tue Oct 13, 2015 8:47 am

Hi, My old MacBook with a windows partition died on me. Replaced it with a new MacBook Pro that has a solid state drive that is too small to install a windows partition on it. Wish I had realized that windows won't install or boot from an external disk.

When I try to import my data from my CMS50F, straight into sleepyhead, sleepyhead crashes as soon as I press the button. I've tried all 3 choices - still crashes. I can't find a SPO2 Review for Mac so I can just import the file directly.

Anyone managing this? I really need to check to see if I'm having desats! It's been a while since I've needed to try this on my Mac and my hope is that. Someone is having some success.

Thanks in advance.

Which version of SleepyHead are you using?

Hi Pugsy,

Thanks for responding.

I'm using SleepyHead v0.9.8-1 (testing). It's still the latest posted on the SourceForge site. I've been using it since it came out a year ago (and the version before that longer)- but also had Windows programs to convert the CMS50F into a file I then could import into my Mac Sleepyhead as I wished.

Now I am stymied.

That version of SleepyHead is supposed to be able to import directly and not need the SPO2 software.
I don't use a Mac and I don't have a pulse ox anymore so I am not much help with your problem but thought I would ask about the SH version because someone who is familiar with Macs and SH would probably ask that question anyway.
Let's wait and see what someone who is familiar with both have to offer.

Thanks Pugsy,

I'm hoping I can get this to work with just my Mac!

Oh, in case it is important: I have installed the Silicon Labs VCP Driver.

Bump

Isn't there anyone who is getting this import into sleepyhead to work on a Mac?

Please help if you have it working - or even if you couldn't.

Thanks,
Jagzoo
