Unbelievable - really, some people need to think before opening their mouths - or type something
If I received a working unit , there would not be a need for a post - would there?

So I will say it real slow do you could understand......they said it was broken, they most likely didn't even examine it, and then sent me a different broken one back -- wow, talk about slow...

"the point of making yourself look like an idiot." -- when someone has to explain the simplest of things to you -- you of all people, should be careful of who you call an idiot

And by the way, why did you come to a forum just to complain a product and a vendor? If you think the product is defective, why didn't you review it on the site where you purchased it?

Forgive me if I'm overstepping the rules of the forum but it is my understanding that the purpose of the forum is to help each other, not for someone who doesn't bother to register to just come here to bitch about a purchase hoping to get sympathy.
--< No - its simply a warning to other people who may choose to buy this machine and don't expect cpap to help - many people on here may only afford to purchase 1 cpap machine - maybe you are wealthy perhaps

WOW - talk about not having a life - -

Yes, they were kind enough to send me back a different "broken" machine -

Is this slow enough for you

Very funny....... they sent you back another machine since you said you had placed a mark on the bottom of yours. So did they send you back another machine or what??? Obviously if they sent you back another machine (probably new) then you HAVE a machine. Stop your bitching and use it... or "did you just post to see your own words"???????
Look, you didn't say (orig) that the second one was also broken... so admit to it and acknowledge how it might have thrown this whole thread sideways... It's not a big deal, we all make bloopers and in a day no one will care or remember, but don't give us a hard time because of your slip.

IDS,

You might want to contact Carolyn or Johnnie Goodman, owners of cpap.com to discuss your situation. In the past, when I had problems, Carolyn was quite responsive. Seems that would be more productive than engaging in a back and forth discussion with folks who can't help you regarding your issues since they don't work for cpap.com.

Your "problem" is between YOU and CPAP.COM (I presume that's who you're referring to).
Posting your problems here on this CPAP USER HELP FORUM has absolutely NO connection to your issues with their sales entity.......and is an indication of your lack of understanding.

Badmouthing them is only going to get you lots more of what you've already gotten.
It's been tried before with similar results.

Deal with them directly regarding whatever issues you're having with the product YOU chose to purchase.

This is the manufacterers warranty on your machine. If you followed the instructions I'm sure you would get satisfaction.

Manufacturer Warranty

The XT Fit machine comes with a 2 Year Manufacturer Warranty. CPAP.com will work with the manufacturer on your behalf if the machine needs repairs. Please follow these steps:

Contact us at cpap@cpap.com or 1-800-356-5221 to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number before returning the equipment
Include a note with the machine describing the issue you are experiencing, along with your full contact information to include a return shipping address and the RMA number provided to you
Ship only the defective items to CPAP.com at 13235 N Promenade Blvd Stafford, TX 77477
Do not return accessory items such as the carry bag, hose or power cords
Loaner Machines are available for rental during the warranty process
Email updates will be sent to keep you informed as the machine moves through the warranty process
CPAP.com will contact the manufacturer on your behalf and handle all shipping between us and the manufacturer
The repaired or replaced unit will be returned to you. Shipping charges may apply.
Please note: The manufacturer warranty is voided by water damage or misuse of the machine.

Thanks-- but I went through this entire process-- and at the end "the manufacturer" sent me back another defective product...so obviously they didn't even bother to examine the one I sent...and just recycled "Water Damage" as the cause

Troll, probably never bought a machine.
Maybe doesn't even have apnea.
Have a nice day--about seven years from now!

You never stated what the original "problem" was or what "defect" you perceive it to be.
Could be you don't know how these machines are supposed to work and are blaming YOUR misunderstanding on them.

You could have easily bought a lightly-used, higher-end machine for what you've spent for this one.

Actually what part of water damage don't you understand - and without using a humidifier how does a CPAP actually get water damage

Maybe you should read as well

Its a crappy cpap, it will fail and anyone who buys this unit will get absolutely no help from the vendor or CPAP -

IDS,

What have you done to try to solve the problem? Did you attempt to contact the Goodmans as I previously suggested? I don't normally agree with posts calling people trolls but you never responded to my suggestion and keep escalating the fights with various posters which can be seen as troll like behavior.

IDS,

As an FYI, that machine got great reviews. It sounds like you had the unfortunate experience of being the one who received two bad machines but that doesn't seem to be everyone's experience.

Again, did you contact the Goodmans as I previously suggested?
