I use 1/4 inch Steri-Strip. I've only been able to find it on Ebay. I have tried soooo many things, and nothing worked. I then started trying different tapes and nothing worked. One day at the Doctors office, they were taking off the Steri-Strips. That's the tape they use on your incision after surgery. I told the Nurse I was using a cpap and I wondered if the Steri-Strip might help keep my lips from opening. She gave me about ten packs and told me to try it. In one pack there are two cards with three strips on each card. They are long enough to be cut in half, so it actually gives you 12 per pack. When you have these on, your lips couldn't move if you wanted them to. C A U T I O N !! When taking the tape off do it very S L O W L Y !!! Once I took it off to fast and it tore some of the skin off my lip, and that smarted for a few days. IT WORKS!!!!!

I use a Full Face Mask and partially tape my mouth anyway to keep my jaw from dropping. Otherwise, I tend to wake up frequently with my mouth dry

Yes, I have had various chinstraps. I am currently using a PAP_CAP and it seems to work better than the elastic chinstraps I have used.

You were incorrect in your thinking. Jimyaconsult wrote:I thought that this might make an interesting poll.

Those are views, not people. Every time someone votes, the post moves to the top of the index and many people click on it again to see what changed.
You have no way of determining how many different people actually viewed a post and how many didn't, never mind how many found it useful.

I use a regular elastic headband, sold to hold back your hair, instead of a chinstrap. It's smaller and lighter (and much cheaper) and there's a huge variety out there.
