Use mine 100% of the time. Setting = 4. Anything less and I am dried out by morning...

When I first started CPAP I used it but for the last few months I haven't. Now I don't even miss it. I expected to have some trouble like dry sinus but it wasn't the case. I don't plan on using it but wouldn't get rid of it just in case.

Depends on the season. Here in PA it's humid enough during the summer that I don't need it at all. Come fall, when the home heating system is fired up, the indoor humidity drops and I need to use a 2 or 3 setting. During the coldest and driest days midwinter, I sometimes use 4, but rainout is often a problem at that setting.

About the same pattern of usage in NC. My usage is inversely related to the relative humidity of the bedroom.late4work wrote:Depends on the season. Re: POLL-How much do you use your humidifier????
I have used a lot of different masks. I have found that I always use a humidifier with nasal pillows . I often use a mask with nasal cushion . I never need a mask with full face or hybrid .
Since regular full face is a killer on the bridge of the nose , presents leakage around the eyes , and gives me an extra smile line wrinkle , I pretty much stick to the hybrid. Unfortunately it took a lot of getting used to for me to get the leaks right . The secret for me was a safety pin tightening up the strap across the top of the head . Now, (after about 5 years of experimenting with different masks and options) no more problems at all .

I tried using it when I first got the cpap but found it to not be helpful so I quit using it.

Very informative info, I don't know how we could live without important info like this. If it wasn't for the POLLLOCKS, we'd never get any useful info, better late than never.
To add to this wealth of must have info, I'll post mine, I use mine all night every night, 2 years ago I even put distilled water in it, and turned it on, now I just use it dry. Feel free to return your seats to the upright position, and go on the the next useless poll. Jim

Don't use the humidifier, but do use the chamber.

I use the humidifier CHAMBER so that ClimateLine tubing can be used. I never add water to the chamber. Have never found the need for humidification, but having warmer inhaled air during Winter is nice.
