Re: extra noise from Air set 10 Autoset

I have been using my Cpap for about 5 or 6 years now and have never had a problem. Over the past month it is making a louder noise in the area where it draws in air, enough that it wakes my wife up (she wakes up from the blue light on the cable box) I have taken the filter out and it does not chang...

Re: extra noise from Air set 10 Autoset

Try reseating the humidifier, or swap it out with your spare humidifier. You do have a spare, don't you? :) Reseat the hoses. Look for a leak on the hose. Swap the hose out with your spare hose. Sorry, I have been away for a few days but the problem was the humidifier (even though I would have swor...

Do you use an ozone cleaner ( sanitizer) on your machine?
That is it, must have forgotten to turn it off overnight. You do know how opposed I am to these don't you?

CF said"Too many people assume that everybody else us "on the dole". The truth is that the trough has gotten smaller and smaller, so the only hogs really wallowing in it are the big ones. Re: Having trouble with F30

Thanks Pugsy, I gave up and returned it under the 30 day program. I don't believe there is anyway it will work for me and I don't want another mask (like my Amara View) sitting in a drawer for the next 10 years

You are asking for medical advice, go see your sleep doctor. No doctors here giving out free advice.

Pugsy, I think you have the patience of a saint, but I do think someone is trying to pull your chain. If not, the advice to go back to their doctor is the best advice

Re: Having trouble with F30

I gave up and returned it within the 30 days. Having gone back to the F10, I have gone from liking it to loving it. Sleeping all night again

Thanks for the reply

Having trouble with F30

I did a search on F30 and came up empty. I am sure I am missing many comments, probably leaving out important stuff in my search. I have been using an F10 for years very successfully. Saw the F30 and thought it might be even more comfortable. When I first put it on and fall asleep, it is as comforta...

Re: How to stop ResMed's report transmission

I just got a CPAP machine and was more than a little disturbed to learn that some third party--the folks who sold me the machine, maybe?--can access data accumulated on my machine. No one asked my permission to do that. I find it presumptuous, intrusive, and offensive. It's an uninvited invasion of...

Re: Accidentally fell asleep with mask on, but didn't turn CPAP

A couple years I did something similar but maybe worse; I had my mouth taped up and fell asleep without my CPAP turned on (must have really been tired). Woke up in the morning (that is the important part, I woke up) and went to turn my machine off and pressed the button and it came on. I was none th...

I haven't logged in for a while, good to see that things haven't changed ( new users feel the need to tell the owners and moderators how they need to handle the forum). As for me, as long as everyone I disagree with is locked, I am good.

Re: Aerophagia tug of war

Had to smile at the cpap police. Fortunately I read on this forum for about 3 weeks before I got my Cpap. I waited a couple days to make any changes, then made what I felt I needed. The DME called me the next day and asked if I had made changes. I said yes and they asked how; I told her "the same wa...
