Hi again!
My new SImplus FFM has arrived, this time with all the parts (last week it arrived without frame).
I've watched the manufacturer's video and the one by TheLeftyLanky in addition to reading instructions. But I keep messing it up--it seems like it has so many different straps.
Is there a better guide (text, pictures, video) out there with a step-by-step process?

Re: First time Simplus assembly
What parts are you having trouble with?
If you look at the back part of the headgear and hold it so you can read the label. The first set of straps on the top there should be a plastic piece that you loop the ends through to connect them. This strap rests on top of your head.
The second set of straps you just need to hook the velcro back onto itself to make little loops which you then slide onto the hooks at the top of the plastic face mask.
The straps on the bottom should have a plastic hook that the strap is looped around these hook onto the bottom of the plastic face mask.
The cushion only fits into the frame one way.
When you are adjusting this mask for fit you want it a little loose so the cushion can inflate and kind of float on your face to seal any leeks.

You might want to lay down with it and the machine on and make your minor adjustments to get it to fit. It should fit as loose as possible while still not allowing leaks.

Thanks. I'm trying my hand again. I am a few steps away from minor adjustments, more in the major adjustment phase, but we'll see.

Hammerhead, THANK YOU!! This worked perfectly--you should write the manual.Hammerhead wrote:What parts are you having trouble with?

One more thing.
I can't find the plastic buckle for the crown strap. What can I use instead?

plastic ring, S-hook, make a loop in heavy string, shoe lace, draw string. The two slots are about the same spacing as a quarter
