Interpreting my home sleep study results?

Post by kdt15 » Tue Jul 16, 2019 5:29 pm

No insurance so home sleep study is cheaper.

Here's my results: not sure what any of this means (oxy saturation, central/obstructive/mixed/hypo apneas, desaturations, snores, etc)

Any ideas? just curious

It looks like they were a little aggressive in flagging desaturations. I don't see a value for artifacts, but looking at the data there are many places where the desaturation and pulse increase could be explained by an artifact.

An artifact occurs when you move your finger inside the oximeter and the signal gets screwed up a little.

Overall it appears you are not totally trashed out, but may find benefit from CPAP.

On the positive side it looks like you will only need to use the CPAP for 99 years... :)
