I have been in touch with Pugsy to see if she thinks my supplies are likely to work with Kb81's machine. They are ready to mail.

If anyone who uses Phillips Respironics equipment has any insights into whether a humidifier chamber and filters for a 5 year old Remstar w/ C Flex (series / model otherwise unknown) are likely to be the same as the ones for my almost 6 year old Remstar System One machine, feel free to chime in here and offer some USEFUL information. Remstar w/ C Flex indicates kb81 has a Phillips Respironics machine. From what I can find online, it appears that the filters and humidifier chambers are the same, but if anyone KNOWS for sure, please let me know, so that I know whether to include them when mailing the items I have that are usable with ANY CPAP machine.

Otherwise, please be respectful to those who are trying to have a helpful, friendly conversation about sending supplies to the OP.
Hi Maryland- I agree with Pugsy, that we're going to need kb's machine model number to determine which filters and other parts are the correct ones. I have a PR System One Auto 560P that is a year old, that uses both the fine white filters and the dark gray foam filter. I also have a back up machine that is in the Legacy series; it's a Remstar Pro C-Flex (with large filters.)

My DME keeps sending white filters with a tab that I think are designed for M-series machines, but will work on a 560. If kb has a machine that can use these white filters with tabs, I have some I can send also. I think it's awesome that we have an opportunity to join together to help our service women and men in need

kb- Thank you so much for your service to our country! Let us know the model number of your machine when you can.

Awesome, thank you so much. MarylandCPAPer, thank you so much for your kind gesture! I apologize people got a little disrespectful towards you for not getting my model number and whatnot. I will take a closer look. I thought the Remstar C-Plus was the model number. Like I say, I will take a closer look to see if I can see anything else. If you have an iphone, I will snap a picture of it and text it to you, as we can text via iMessage through WIFI. Again, thank you so much!

The manufacturers intentionally make it difficult to tell one model from another. DMEs will often try to give patients the lowest-end model that they can get away with because it means more profit for them.

The model number will be on a sticker on the bottom of the main blower unit - the one with the display - and usually had three digits and a couple of letters at the beginning or end. Take the water tank out before turning machines over! With that number, people will know exactly what you have.

Robysue has a great post about identifying Respironics machines here: viewtopic/t72302/Respironics-Confusing- ... wbies.html

I have taken a photo of the bottom of my PR System One Auto w/ A-flex, in case it helps in finding Model numbers. NOTE: THIS MACHINE IS NOT BEING OFFERED FOR SALE OR LOAN.

The left-hand part is the bottom of the blower. In case you can't read it, the sticker on the blower says it is Remstar Model 550P. The top of the humidifer says REMStar Auto A-Flex. The blower part says System One on top. .

I don't have an Iphone and don't text, but I PM'd kb81 an email address, in case he can email photos. If I receive any, I will post them here and those of you who are familiar with the various Phillips Respironics machines can compare the numbers to enlighten us on which model of machine kb81 has and whether the gray/black and the white filters i have are likely to work. I also emailed kb81 this picture as an attached file, just in case he can't see it here.

If email won't work and anyone wants to PM kb81 a number to which he can send a text containing a picture of the bottom of his machine and post the picture here, perhaps we can determine with certainty which machine kb81 has, so that those of use who have extra Phillips Respironics supplies who want to help him out can send them to him.

Here is the picture of KB81's model number., Remstar Plus 250P Is anyone familiar with this model and whether the filters and humidifier water chamber are the same as the ones for mine, PR Auto 550P (Phillips Respironics System One Auto A-flex)?

The filters and the water chamber are interchangeable between the 250 and the 550.
The main difference between the 2 machines are how it functions and data collection. That 250 is a brick when it comes to data.
Otherwise the filters and the water chamber are identical.
What you sent will work and what I have won't. Good job.

Hi kb- the white filters I have should work on your machine also. If you'd like to PM your info/ mailing information to me, I'd be happy to ship them out to you.
