Questions about SleepyHead and ResMed Aircurve 10 ASV

Post by petpoor » Wed Sep 02, 2015 12:33 pm

Hi all, I just received my ResMed Aircurve 10 ASV machine last night and am getting an Amara View mask today. Tonight will be my first night using the equipment at home.
I have read about SleepyHead software and will install it. There has been some chatter about sleepyhead having some issues with AirCurve 10. Anyone have good results and/or any advice for me? Also is there a mobile app for monitoring available anywhere?
Yes, I am a geek who has not had a good night sleep in years and am looking forward to some wonderful rest!!

SleepyHead has some issues getting the settings right ....like the pressure setting in the statistics area under the machine type. Not a huge ordeal.
It's not so much that the results it reports are off but just what it says is being used is off.
I would still use it though and have ResScan available for backup if needed.

I don't know of any mobile app unless the new MyAir ResMed website offers something. If they do it's going to be basic information and not the detail available using the software but it might be enough data to get a general idea what is going on.

Now there is the wirelss card thing for using the software on your computer without having to remove the SD card from the machine. Is that what you were maybe thinking of?
Check that out at the very bottom of this page.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

If you want to try the Eclipse mask and want a special promo code to get a little off the price...send me a private message.

I'm trying to prod jedimark into getting those and a couple other small things fixed, and releasing a minor upgrade in the near future.
