I'm glad the antibacterial filters I received by mistake have found a good home. Assuming you have a Phillips Respironics machine, I also can send you a spare new unopened water chamber, a pack of white filters, a gray filter, and a new non-heated hose that haven't been opened, from the last shipment of supplies for my old PR System One machine. I always had my humidifier on the PR CPAP machine set to the highest setting and never knew I got any humidity at all, but it used up most of the tank of water every night. I'll be happy if having a few extra filters and supplies on hand will make your life a little easier.

I'm not sure what machine I have. I've had it for the past 5 years. I will get you the model of it. Thank you a million! Even if it doesn't work out, please know your offer is phenomenally awesome!

I am so glad that the increase in humidity setting resolved the nasal issues so easily.
Don't worry if the water chamber gets a little cloudy from the minerals in the bottled water. That's easily removed with a little vinegar if you can get some and if not and it gets really gross looking maybe you can get a new chamber. The cloudiness won't hurt you though...it's just a bit yucky looking.
Dumping the left over water in the AM will also help reduce the mineral buildup.

If you will tell us exactly which machine you are using....we might have some spare filters for that machine that we could send you. If you have 2 filters now...the gray foam and the white fine filter...that usually means a Respironics machine of some sort. I might have some of the fine white filters depending on which machine you are using that I could send you.

You can still use the anti bacterial filters with any machine though..because they go outside the machine at the hose/humidifier connection. So the filters that Marylandcpaper has to offer...work no matter what machine you have...just adds an extra layer of filtering.

kb81 has a remstar plus c-flex that is about 5 years old, so I think it uses the same filters and humidifier chamber that my 5.5 year old PR System One used. I never opened my last shipment of supplies from a year ago, forgot I had it, so everything I'm sending is new in the original packaging.

let pugsy do her thing. what you said is a null statement, since there's *at least* three different machines that match that description, maybe more.

What thing is Pugsy doing? When I asked for the model of CPAP, kb81 had, before I sent off supplies, this is the response i got from him. It establishes that he uses a Phillips Respironics machine, which has a different type of humidifier water tank and different filters than Resmed machines. I have both-- my old PR machine and the new A10. From looking at pictures on CPAP.com, it appears that the humidifier chamber is the same as the one I am sending. He describes using white and gray sponge filters, which is what PR machines use. I'm sure kb81 can use more filters if others have them. I was just sharing the information I have obtained so far.

well, the *thinking* person would wait to find out what machine he actually has, to *know* whether the filters and tank would fit, instead of just ASS-U-MEing

I have been in touch with Pugsy to see if she thinks my supplies are likely to work with Kb81's machine. They are ready to mail.

If anyone who uses Phillips Respironics equipment has any insights into whether a humidifier chamber and filters for a 5 year old Remstar w/ C Flex (series / model otherwise unknown) are likely to be the same as the ones for my almost 6 year old Remstar System One machine, feel free to chime in here and offer some USEFUL information. Remstar w/ C Flex indicates kb81 has a Phillips Respironics machine. From what I can find online, it appears that the filters and humidifier chambers are the same, but if anyone KNOWS for sure, please let me know, so that I know whether to include them when mailing the items I have that are usable with ANY CPAP machine.

Otherwise, please be respectful to those who are trying to have a helpful, friendly conversation about sending supplies to the OP.

There are at least 3 different Respironics machines that use the model name Remstar Plus with CFlex.
The Remstar part gets stuck on all models and it's useless in terms of identifying anything.
The Legacy series
The M Series
The PR S1 series.

The PR S1 and M series can use the same filter but they don't come close to fitting the Legacy machines which have huge filters...
5 years ago...could be the PR S1 was given or maybe the M Series.
Wouldn't be impossible for a dirty dog DME to even dispense an old Legacy machine.

It would be best to confirm exactly what his machine looks like and/or use model numbers.

Robysue has them all in one post with pictures.

be respectful towards someone that's just making a GUESS and shipping stuff at random half way around the world?

yeah, that's the ticket.

find out exactly what model it is, and then be generous, with stuff that is sure to fit.

and, the humidifier tanks are different between the 50 and 60 series... (just in case there's a mistake on the age)
