Re: Trade Wisp nasal mask XL for small?
The Phillips Responics Wisp mask comes with three sizes of nasal mask, which is great, but I don't use the XL. I have two that are new and in packaging, never used and from a nonsmoking home. Anyone want to trade for one or two Small/Medium size Wisp masks?

Re: Before CPAP
Extreme fatigue, felt like a zombie! No energy to do much of anything. Thank god the kids were older, since they pretty much took care of themselves as it got bad this summer. Body felt like I had been hit by a truck when I woke up every morning. Many trips to the bathroom at night. I'm happy to rep...

Re: Resmed S9 or Airsense for her?
I've had both machines and found them silent. If they aren't silent, it's because something is broken or worn. Your mask will make more noise than the machine. Both machines will TREAT RERA's, but only the Airsense for Her will track them. I like both machines. The only other thing is that parts fo...

Re: Flow limitations – how much is too much?
Good food for thought, lots of information to take into consideration. I generally DON'T sleep on my back, but I have been known to roll on my back in a deep sleep. I doubt that would happen in the beginning of the night though. There are some nights that I wake up in the exact same position on my s...

Re: Flow limitations – how much is too much?
Wow, Pugsy, my graph looks like a blood bath in comparison. I am trying to post a screen shot and am not able to paste it into my reply, will keep trying. And no, I am almost never congested, so that is not the issue.

Re: Flow limitations – how much is too much?
And I should add- should I assume the correction for that is higher pressure? Or a constant pressure as opposed to a range of pressures in Auto mode.

Re: Flow limitations – how much is too much?
Thanks for the info. So are you saying that there should be few, or almost no flow limitations? I thought flow limitations were natural in someone with SA and was what was telling machine how to work, but if Inunderstand you many people's graphs have few or no flow limitations?

Re: [Poll] Do you use anything to help keep your mouth closed?
I use a regular elastic headband, sold to hold back your hair, instead of a chinstrap. It's smaller and lighter (and much cheaper) and there's a huge variety out there.

Flow limitations – how much is too much?
I've been on AutoCPAP now for a little over a month, and although some symptoms are better I'm definitely still fatigued and not getting more energy. After the wonderful help of many people on this site, I'm in the middle of slowly bringing my minimum pressure up, although it's now at 7.8 and the ma...

Re: Newbie question regarding leaks
I am in the same boat as you and really wondering why I'm not feeling better yet! I have been on CPAP for exactly a month, took to it right away, installed the Sleepyhead software and I've been monitoring my stats. Everything looks great, my AHIs are usually less than one, and thanks to the advice h...

Flow Limitation much higher on new machine
I just went from a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset to an Airsense 10 Autoset for Her. Using Sleepyhead, my flow limitations are much higher with the new machine at the same pressure, 6–14. This new machine has a heated hose, which is also thinner then the old unheated hose, but would that make the differ...

Newbie - Best full face masks for small women?
I've been on CPAP therapy two weeks and slowly starting to feel better. I got some great recommendations when I asked for nasal masks for a small woman's face, can anyone recommend a full face mask that might work for a small woman? Thanks to all the help I've gotten here I was able to make many adj...

Another quick question- the ramp is on auto, do you know what that setting means?
