The Amara mask is new, and only a few people here have tried it. The reviews have not been so encouraging.

On the other hand, the Innomed Hybrid has been around a long time and a lot of us have used it for years with great results. The nasal interface on the Hybrid is nasal pillows, and nasal pillows were the biggest and most popular innovation in nasal masks in the last twenty years.

You are a newbie. Use the tried and true solutions. Leave experimenting with new designs to the old hands.

Poorly fitting masks suck !! If you've only had yours for a few days, you might be able to return it to your DME supplier and get a different model of mask in exchange or, a larger size in that model. Good luck !

I sent my mask back it the company because of wrinkles. A month later they returned it with a letter explaining the mask was fine, it was just taking on the shape of the wrinkles of my face. Jim

Fitting masks sucks alot, for sure.
Thank you for all your good replies, much appreciated.
I did exchange my AirFit size small for a medium. It is quite a bit better, but not perfect. Still feels a little bit like it has a little trouble covering the outer corners of my mouth if I open too much. Some leaking here and there, but not as much.
My RemZzzs are to arrive today. Sure am hoping they make a huge difference, but not getting my hopes up too high.
My health insurance ended on Monday (position became part-time) so it looks like further mask purchases could get expensive. Which I would gladly pay the price if I just knew exactly which one to get.
