Cpap mask sealer

Post by Lostfan1 » Sat Aug 29, 2015 9:24 am

I have the Res Med XS face mask. It goes just around the nose and mouth. The rubber around the mask had come apart from the plastic part of the mask. It is just a small part that has come unglued so can I just get a sealant to fix it? And if so what would you recommend?

The cushion is meant to be removable so that you can clean it and replace it as needed. Do NOT glue it in. It should fit back into the groove and stay just fine.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Replace it (the cushion) if it's no longer useable... Cpap.com's individual mask pages have a re-direct to 'Replacement Parts' which should help, and if they no longer carry it, I'm sure lots of other DME's would.

A staple gun and some window caulking. Kidding. The OP hasn't come back and there might be some question about which mask they actually have.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
