Just have to love the system

Post by PoolQ » Thu Aug 27, 2015 5:19 pm

So I have been on APAP for just under 60 days now and something is just not right. Trying to get my sleep Doc to help figure it out, got a BiPAP sleep study scheduled for the end of October, even though he does not think this will help.
I had low obstructive, high hypopnea and some central from the first study and that is still the case on APAP.
Saw my cardiologist this last Tuesday and brought a sleepyhead printout of periodic breathing last over 90 minutes, 2 of the low sections were flagged as centrals and asked him if this was a good thing or not

well just over 24 hours later I get two calls from the sleep center one wanting to know if I can come in for a sleep study this Thursday (today) and the other to schedule a visit with my sleep Doc for Tuesday next week.

As my cardiologist and sleep Doc both work for the same health provider, I am guessing that someone had a fire lit under their foot brought the sleep study in by 2 months
Sleeping MUCH better now

Yeah... 90 minutes of classic PB is waaaay too long. Glad you shook things up a bit.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
