OK camping has been done to death but I only have to do this every now and again and it has not worked well to date.
I only have one hose and its a heater hose.
I was not going to use the humidifier to save power, will the heater hose draw additional power when connected without the humidifier?
As I have never tried, can the heater hose be connected to the machine?
Thanks

You'd have to reverse the hose and use it backwards which is doable but very awkward at the mask end, but it is an option

Another option is to use the humidifier in passover mode and then you get a little bit of added moisture if you want it.
You can still connect the heated hose normally but go into the clinical setup menu and set everything to manual for the humidifier and the hose...then set it to 0 for both and the humidifier won't heat and the heated hose won't heat and thus neither will draw any energy from the battery. A little water in the chamber will allow the air (not warmed) that passes over the water to pick up a little moisture..that's why we call it passover humidity.
In manual operation mode (as opposed to automatic) both the humidifier and the heated hose have settings that are independent of each other and 0 or Off is one of the choices.

But an ordinary hose is inexpensive, and you won't have to reset everything when you get home.

Thanks for the replies. A good couple of options there. Getting a new hose is not that convenient so reversing or adjusting the settings is a simple solution.
Thanks again.
